DITTE MAIGAARD is a Danish artist and designer with a passion for surfaces and story telling. She works in the cross field between art and design and utilise her knowledge of materials and texture to make art prints and design objects with personality and character.

Ditte Maigaard has a background as graphics designer and textile designer from The Danish Design School (now KADK - Det Danske Kunstakademis Skoler for Arkitektur, Design og Konservering). Also studied at Designskolen Kolding.
She lives and work on the small island Fanø on the West coast of Denmark where the Ditte Maigaard Studio Store is located.
