INFO / The paper art work is inspired by old tiles from Fanø. In the early days sailors from Fanø brought home tiles from the Netherlands from their trips abroad. These tiles where used as functional decoration on the walls in as many rooms as possible and are still to be seen in many of the old houses today.

INFO / The print is inspired by the Fanø Scarf - the traditional piece of clothing for wearing around the head and neck in the old times. Now a days it is still used for festive occasions. The two towns on Fanø each have their own way of tying the scarf, which was used to tell people where you where from and it was this way you could show some personality in the way you where dressing.
